Le Corbusier - The Complete Buildings Architecture Book

This architecture book collects photographs of all the surviving buildings designed by Le Corbusier, documented by Turkish photographer Cemal Emden during a trip across three continents. The work resulted in the most comprehensive image archive of Le Corbusier's architecture to date. The book contains photographs of 52 buildings, from Villa Vallet in Switzerland in 1905 to the Unité d'Habitation in Marseille in 1947. Each project is presented with exterior and interior images from multiple angles, which highlights the variation in Le Corbusier's treatment of form and space. Text contributions by architects and researchers provide additional context to the visual material and reflect the broad impact that his work has had on modern architecture.
