Here you see the chair CH36 in solid beech with a beautiful seat made of natural braided paper cord. The chair was designed in 1962 by Hans J. Wegner for Carl Hansen & Sun. The designer took a lot of inspiration from the American Shaker furniture, which is perhaps most evident in the CH36 model. Wegner was also very particular about the details of his furniture. Here, for example, he has created a slightly tapering shape both at the top and bottom of the legs for a light and elegant expression. At the same time, the backrest is extremely flexible for the back, so that you can sit comfortably even during the longer dinners.
