Spider 3319 is a floor lamp designed as early as 1965 by the Italian Joe Colombo for Oluce. The lamp has a chrome-plated metal body and a base and shade made of lacquered metal. The modernist lamp has a horizontal shade in either black or white. Thanks to a clever design, the shade can be angled to direct the light where you want it. Spider 3319 is part of the Spider range, which also includes a table lamp with a similar design.
Spider is an award-winning lamp range that won the prestigious Compasso d'Oro award in 1967. Spider 3319 is part of the permanent collections of well-known institutions such as the Milan Triennale, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Kunstmuseum of Düsseldorf and the Neue Sammlung Museum in Munich.
