Skargaarden

Skargaarden is a Swedish brand with its roots in Gävle. The name itself describes the small town as blustery with snowy winters, rainy summers, and darkness for most of the year. This is what Skargaarden design is all about: creating comfortable furniture for the short Swedish summers, which is also beautiful enough to be indoors, without compromising.

The extensive range includes both furniture that has been around for a long time and new additions. Skargaarden’s stylish design will suit any occasion, whether you’re looking for a single chair for the balcony, or hundreds of options for an entire resort.

Simple design with smart details

Skargaarden design is traditionally Scandinavian, while taking inspiration from everything from early American Shaker style to Bauhaus. They work according on the principle “less is more”, and believe that creation should not be an intellectual process, but something that can be grasped immediately. An example of this are the details of Skargaarden’s furniture, which become apparent over time. Through clever solutions, the simple design is transformed into something out of the ordinary, simply “less is more”. Skargaarden’s design exudes a sense of simplicity and is characterized by pure craftsmanship, in terms of both production and choice of materials.
