Arihiro Miyake, born in Japan in 1975, has established himself as a pioneering designer in modern lighting design. With an education from both Kobe Design University in Japan and Aalto University in Finland, Miyake has gained a unique ability to merge Japanese minimalism with European design tradition. 

After working at several design studios in Helsinki and Milan, Miyake established his own studio in 2004 in Helsinki. Studio Arihiro Miyake has since been involved in a range of international projects, from restaurant architecture to exhibition design and lighting. Collaborations with Nemo Lighting and Moooi
