Tangent Round dining table

Tangent Table Round is a round dining table from the Danish brand dk3, designed by Anne Boysen in 2025, where organic form meets sculptural geometry in a balanced composition.

The solid wood tabletop is based on six tangential arcs that merge into an asymmetrical shape with soft transitions. The elegantly rounded edge creates a light, almost floating expression. The base consists of two contrasting volumes: a gently curved panel and a more solid body, both crafted from solid wood with softly rounded feet. Together, they create a visual tension that changes depending on the viewing angle. Tangent Table Round was developed with social interaction in mind. Its round shape encourages equal engagement around the table and avoids the sense of distance often associated with larger extendable solutions. At the same time, the table can be extended with up to two extension leaves. The integrated extension system is concealed by the apron, preserving the design’s continuous lines.
