Rituals 2 is a table lamp from Foscarini, designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba in 2013. The low, broad form is made from mouth-blown glass with a textured surface that softens the light and gives the lamp its distinctive expression.
Fine engravings run across the glass, creating a subtle, irregular texture inspired by traditional glass cutting and artisanal craftsmanship. When the lamp is illuminated, the pattern is highlighted and the light is filtered through the glass to create a soft, pleasant glow. The combination of the rounded form and textured surface gives Rituals 2 an expression in which form, material and light interact. The table lamp is available in two versions, either with a dimmer or with an on/off function.
