Tite 2 is a pendant lamp from Foscarini, Italy, designed by Marc Sadler in 2000. The model has a compact, harmonious form and is based on the same characteristic combination of materials as the Tite series, in which structure and graphic expression are united in a cohesive form.
The shade is made of fibreglass and black carbon fibre thread. The carbon fibre threads function both as part of the supporting structure and as a decorative pattern across the surface of the lamp. When Tite 2 is switched on, the graphic lines of the threads are highlighted by the light, while a warm, concentrated light is directed downwards. The Tite 2 pendant lamp has a softly rounded and more compact silhouette than the elongated Tite. It uses a replaceable E27 light source, sold separately. The lamp is dimmable with a compatible light source and dimmer, allowing the brightness to be adjusted according to need and the desired ambience.
