Arbour Club Armchair is one of the latest additions to the Arbour family from Hay, designed by Andreas Engesvik and Daniel Rybakken. The Arbour collection was developed based on the idea of creating a sustainable sofa and is also the first sofa in Denmark to be certified according to the Nordic Ecolabel. The Nordic Ecolabel means that Arbour is free from harmful chemicals such as heavy metals, flame retardants and fluorinated substances, to name a few of the requirements. Arbour is made of FSC-certified wood, Öko-Tex-certified foam and eco-labelled textiles. The seat and back cushions are designed with carefully balanced proportions that create a sense of harmony and offer high comfort, while the solid wooden frame contributes to a strong and elegant architectural profile. Arbour is a stylish armchair that is built to last over time, with components that can be repaired individually – without having to replace the entire piece of furniture in the future. In the Arbour collection you will also find a 2- and 3-seater sofa, as well as the more compact versions Club Armchair and Club Sofa.
