IC Lights - Flos
IC Lights is a lighting series from Flos, designed by Michael Anastassiades. The collection is defined by a sphere of mouth-blown opal glass that balances on a slender metal structure. The IC Lights series
Our selection of the series includes table lamps, floor lamps, ceiling lamps, and wall lamps, all sharing the same fundamental construction. The mouth-blown opal glass provides a diffused glow, spreading light through the room without harsh contrasts. The metal finishes are available in chrome and brushed brass, making it possible to adapt the expression to the existing architecture and materials in the room. In many interiors, the series is used as a unifying line, where a table lamp complements a larger ceiling lamp and creates a calm and coordinated design language.
The series' various models allow for a conscious approach to proportions. Wall and ceiling versions can be placed in pairs or in series to lend rhythm to rooms with longer walls or higher ceilings. Table and floor models are often used as supplementary light sources in reading corners or in larger rooms where several light points are required to achieve a balanced whole. Through the variation in size, the same design language can recur without repeating the exact same visual weight. The glass softly disperses the light throughout the room, contributing to a pleasant general illumination.
Flos IC S2
Flos IC S2is one of the popular ceiling lamps in the IC Lights series. With a slightly larger sphere and a longer stem, the IC S2 creates a dramatic effect in the room. It fits perfectly over the dining table or in a living room, where it can be a central part of the interior. This lamp(lampa) is both a practical light source and a work of art in itself.
Flos IC S1
Flos IC S1is a slightly smaller ceiling lamp in the IC Lights series, but it retains the same elegant design and high quality as the IC S2. It is ideal for smaller spaces such as the kitchen or hall, where it can add both light and style without dominating the room. The IC S1 is an excellent example of how simple design can have a big impact.
