Korn Kalk 881 Wool Rug

Korn Kalk 881 is a plain-woven rug from the Swedish brand Kasthall. The rug is part of the Landskab collection, designed by Danish Cecilie Manz. Korn is characterized by a coarse, robust weave with a clear texture and a material focus on linen. Its surface is compact but lively, produced with Kasthall's technique for woven rugs in natural materials. The colors are muted and close to nature's own tones. The rug is suitable for living rooms, libraries or study rooms where a sense of material and subdued color are important.

Kasthall has been manufacturing rugs in Kinna since 1889 and combines traditional craftsmanship with industrial precision. Korn is developed in close collaboration between Manz and the weaving mill, where every choice of thread and structure has been tested in detail. This makes the rug a perfect example of Kasthall's view of functional design with a long lifespan.
