Terazzo 504 Marcasite Wool Rug

Terrazzo 504 Marcasite is a woven bouclé rug in wool and linen from Kasthall Design Studio. It was developed with inspiration from natural stone and mineral structure, where the surface has an irregular character that changes depending on the surrounding light and colors. The expression of the weave is both tactile and visually active.

Kasthall has been manufacturing all of its rugs in Kinna since 1889 and has developed a special method for producing the rug in three steps. The combination of yarns gives the rug a discreet relief feel and clear framing. The weft consists mostly of wool, supplemented with linen for luster and elasticity. The warp is entirely in linen. The rug has a thickness of approximately 10 mm and a weight of approximately 3000 grams per square meter. It is available in several sizes and as a custom-made rug in widths up to 600 cm.
