Columba Blue Wool Rug is a hand-knotted rug designed by Alex Eagle for Nordic Knots. It is part of a limited-edition collection created in collaboration with Eagle & Hodges, inspired by the changing atmosphere of British gardens.
The rug is made from New Zealand wool, a durable natural material known for its soft and flexible texture. Its pale blue and muted green tones evoke the first haze of a summer sky, bringing a quiet presence to the room. Each piece is handwoven in small batches in Bhadohi, India, using traditional techniques.
Columba Blue is 12 mm thick and part of Nordic Knots’ collection of handmade wool rugs, where natural fibers and understated design define the material language. The rug works well in living rooms, bedrooms, or reading corners where soft tones and tactile surfaces contribute to a calm setting. It is GoodWeave™ certified, ensuring ethical and traceable production.
