Tripod desk lamp

Tripod desk lamp is a desk lamp from the French brand Serge Mouille. Designed by Serge Mouille in 1954, the model belongs to the Formes Noires series and represents an early approach to directional task lighting in a compact format. The lamp stands on a tripod base finished with three small spherical feet, providing stability and a defined structure. The conical reflector is cut at the back and can be adjusted using a brass ball joint, allowing precise control of light direction. The structure combines a steel body with an aluminum reflector, while the brass detail introduces contrast against black or white finishes. Tripod desk lamp is suited for desks, side tables, or workspaces where focused lighting is required in a smaller footprint. Its compact form makes it suitable for limited spaces. Each piece is manufactured in France according to the original drawings and issued as a numbered edition with a certificate of authenticity.
