Floor End 200 x 30 cm Set of 2

String Floor End is a floor-mounted end from the Swedish brand String. It is part of the String System – a flexible shelving system based on wire panels and a modular approach. The system was designed in 1949 by Nisse Strinning and has since become an architectural reference point in Scandinavian design.

The floor end acts as the frame for the shelving system. It is made of powder-coated steel and can be combined with shelves, cabinets or other modules from the same system. The design is both discreet and graphic, making it equally useful in a home environment as in public spaces.

The open design creates a light and airy whole, even when several sections are combined. The shelving system's parts are movable and designed to be easily rebuilt or expanded.
