String wall end cap is a wall-mounted end cap from the Swedish brand String . It is a central part of the modular String System , which was designed by Nisse Strinning in 1949 and is based on an architecture where each component is attached to an open framework.
The wall panels are available in two heights, 50 cm and 75 cm, and two depths, 20 cm and 30 cm. They are mounted directly on the wall and leave both the floor and ceiling free, which makes them particularly flexible in smaller or uneven spaces. The panels act as a supporting structure for adding shelves, cabinets and other parts of the collection. For extended functionality, the wall panels can be supplemented with accessories such as s-hooks and organizers, which are hung directly on the panels. They are sold in both 1-pack and 2-pack, thus providing freedom of choice when planning the size and design of the system.
