PostKrisi 0064

PostKrisi 0064 is part of a series of lamps from Catellani Smith created by Enzo Catellani in 2004. The lamps are made of fiberglass because Catellani was fascinated by the strength of the material and its ability to create beautiful shadows in the room when the light is switched on. PostKrisi 0064 is a floor lamp with a base made of nickel and a dome on top. The light is diffused through an opening in the center of the dome, giving an additional dimension to the shadow effect. The floor lamp is 190 cm high and is suitable for the reading corner of a living room or bedroom.

PostKrisi is a collection of lamps that opens a new chapter in Catellani's production. For the first time he introduced color to his collection, hand-painted with pure primary colors they give another side to the lamps. The shape that has always been an important element of Catellani's design, capturing the light and creating shadows, is here enhanced with shades made of fiberglass with raw, fringed edges, giving further life to the play of shadows that transform into drawings of light. The collection also includes floor, ceiling, and table lamps.
