Karu 2-Seater Sofa

Karu Sofa is a two-seater sofa from the Dagmar brand. The model was designed by Gunnar Haimi in the 1940s for the Finnish company Haimi Oy and has a design language that reflects the Nordic post-war expression with soft lines and rounded armrests. The sofa is manufactured in Sweden and is part of Dagmar's Classic Collection series. The frame is made of solid beech and is joined using traditional carpentry methods. The fully sprung seat is padded with foam and upholstered in sheepskin. It is a two-seater sofa adapted for living rooms, bedrooms or libraries, where proportions and materials provide a clear but discreet design presence. For a uniform look, it is advantageous to combine it with the armchair and footstool in the same series.
