Chouchin Semi is a wall lamp from Foscarini, Italy, designed by Ionna Vautrin in 2021. The lamp is made of blown glass and has a soft, graphic design language in which the clean silhouette interacts with the light on the wall.
The blown glass diffuses a warm, soft light into the surroundings. At the bottom, the form ends in a collar-like glass detail that directs a more concentrated light downwards, creating a distinct triangular light pattern on the wall. The contrast between the diffuse glow and the more intense downward light is a central part of the lamp’s expression. The Chouchin Semi wall lamp is also suitable for coloured walls, where the fixture’s graphic character and light pattern become more pronounced. The combination of blown glass, the pared-back form and the different light intensities gives the lamp a decorative yet balanced presence in the room.
