Rituals 2 wall and ceiling lamp

The Rituals 2 wall and ceiling light is a luminaire designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba in 2015, drawing inspiration from traditional Oriental rice paper lanterns and translating them into a contemporary expression in glass.

The hand-blown satin-finished glass shade features an engraved surface that creates a softly diffused light. Its textured finish produces a lively glow with a warm and inviting ambience, while allowing the form to maintain a distinct presence within the space. The understated metal base provides a balanced contrast and reinforces the restrained design. The Rituals 2 wall and ceiling light can be installed as either a wall or ceiling fixture, making it a versatile choice for a variety of settings. It works equally well as an atmospheric light source in living rooms and bedrooms as it does in more functional spaces where softer illumination is preferred.

The design is part of the Rituals collection, where material craftsmanship and the quality of light take centre stage, creating a clear connection between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design.
