BM80 Mogensen Coffee Table 90 x 90 cm

The BM80 Mogensen Coffee Table is a coffee table from the Danish furniture brand Fredericia Furniture. The table was designed in 1961 by Børge Mogensen and draws inspiration from the American Shaker tradition, where function and construction are at the center.

The square coffee table measures 90 x 90 cm and is made of solid oak. The construction is characterized by staggered joints and a visible brass screw that anchors the frame and makes it clear how the table's parts are joined. The design reflects Mogensen's work to unite form and function through materials, proportions and constructive details.

Soap-treated oak has a character that is close to untreated wood and develops a patina over time. For daily cleaning, a clean, dry cloth is recommended. On oiled surfaces, wet cloths should be avoided whenever possible. Stains can be treated with a soft, slightly damp cloth, after which the surface is immediately wiped dry.
