Cutter Wardrobe

Cutter is a wall-mounted hat shelf from Fritz Hansen in Denmark, designed by Danish designer Niels Hvass. It is part of the Cutter collection, characterised by a minimalist and functional design language with practical solutions for everyday storage.

The open construction combines several functions in one compact piece of furniture. The upper shelf provides space for hats, boxes and other smaller items, while the rail can be used for shirts, jackets and other garments on hangers. Outerwear can also be hung directly on the storage unit. Its light appearance and carefully considered construction make Cutter Wardrobe particularly suitable for narrow hallways and other spaces where floor space and storage options are limited. Niels Hvass takes the user experience as his starting point and makes function a central part of the design.
