Steamer is an outdoor sun lounger from Fritz Hansen in Denmark, with a design language inspired by the soft, sweeping lines of a cruise ship. This classic type of deck chair has been given a modern, pared-back interpretation in which function and comfort take centre stage.
The chair is made from teak and features a light, airy construction with long lines that follow its reclined profile. The backrest can be adjusted to four different positions, allowing the sitting position to be adapted from more upright to relaxed. The integrated footrest provides support for the legs and can easily be folded away when not in use. Over time, the teak develops a natural patina that changes the appearance of the wood. The combination of an adjustable backrest, integrated footrest and distinct wooden construction makes Steamer Deck Chair well suited to extended periods of outdoor relaxation. Place the chair on a terrace, veranda or in the garden to create a comfortable spot for rest.
