Wabisabi wool rug Navy is a handwoven rug from the Spanish brand Nanimarquina. Through collaborations with weavers in India, Nepal, and Pakistan, Nanimarquina explores the intersection of traditional techniques and material-driven design.
The rug is designed by Nani Marquina and is part of the Wabisabi collection. The series is based on the Japanese philosophy of finding beauty in the transient and imperfect. Each rug starts from a hand-drawn composition, making every piece slightly unique. The Navy colorway blends deep blue tones with wave-like transitions that add visual movement without overwhelming the space.
Wabisabi Navy is made of 100% New Zealand wool and features a dense, low structure that is soft underfoot yet durable in use. The rug is suited for dry indoor environments and works well in both private and public spaces where a subdued yet expressive textile presence is desired.
