Mohair Taupe is a wool rug from the Swedish brand Nordic Knots. The rug is part of the Mohair collection, which brings refined craftsmanship into the home through handwoven construction and a carefully balanced mohair blend.
Mohair Taupe features a dense, cut pile that creates depth and a clearly defined surface. The Taupe tone is inspired by mineral-rich landscapes and moves between warm and cool nuances, resulting in a balanced and neutral expression suited to a wide range of interiors. A short cotton fringe adds a subtle detail that reflects the rug’s handcrafted nature.
The material composition consists of 55 percent wool, 30 percent mohair, and 15 percent cotton. The wool and mohair are sourced from New Zealand and selected for durability and consistency. The pile measures 17 millimeters in thickness. Designed in Stockholm and handmade in Bhadohi, India, the rug is produced under Goodweave™ certification. Mohair Taupe works well in living rooms, bedrooms, or other spaces where a wool rug provides cohesion and calm. Explore more wool rugs from Nordic Knots or view the complete Mohair collection.
