Tessa Armchair Incl. Cushion from Flexform is a chair that is practical and comfortable while exuding simplicity. Behind this visual simplicity lies a complexity in which every constructive detail is carefully thought out and demonstrates ingenuity and craftsmanship. The barrel has a structure of solid wood in walnut or ash without ever feeling clumsy and with a sophisticated and unique design. The traditional carpentry requires expert craftsmanship and carefully preserves the natural texture and finish of the wood; it is a time-honored art that harkens back to Italian rural tradition when even the seat was handmade with a paper cut. Soft seat cushions held in place by narrow straps provide an inviting and comfortable backdrop to the Tessa Armchair.
