PK111 room divider

PK111 room divider is a room divider from the Danish brand Fritz Hansen. Designed by Poul Kjærholm, it is conceived as a modular system where individual panels can be connected and extended to adjust the overall length. The construction allows for flexible spatial divisions while maintaining openness and light within a room. Its repeated structure creates a consistent visual rhythm, where each section contributes to the whole. PK111 is used in both residential and public settings to define zones within larger spaces, such as living areas or work environments. Kjærholm’s approach is grounded in material and construction, with steel playing a central role in the design. The system can be expanded over time by adding modules, allowing it to adapt to changing spatial requirements.
