Shamshiri - Interiors Design Book

This interior design book from the American publisher Rizzoli presents a selection of interior design projects by the Los Angeles-based studio of the same name. The book shows homes where historical references meet contemporary expressions in environments characterized by a wealth of materials, nuanced color schemes and architectural anchoring.

The studio, founded by siblings Pamela and Ramin Shamshiri, works in a design language that unites Californian bohemia, East Coast elegance and European heritage. The projects range from Hollywood and Napa Valley to international assignments, but always have California as an aesthetic and geographical starting point. Inspiration often comes from modernist architects such as Rudolf Schindler and A. Quincy Jones, whose work is rediscovered and interpreted through the studio's practice.

The book covers both renovations of historic buildings and newly produced homes in collaboration with contemporary architects. The result is a holistic vision that moves between the practical and the visionary – an expression of California's design history and future potential.
