Storage & Fittings
Hardware plays a central role in interior. It is used to open, close, hang and secure. It appears on furniture, walls and storage solutions throughout the home. These components are often small, yet they influence how a room is used and how it is perceived. Hardware is a technical element, but also a visual detail that contributes to structure and cohesion.

Historically, hardware developed out of practical needs. From simple locks and hinges to designed knobs and handles in serially manufactured kitchens, hardware has evolved alongside changes in residential architecture, production methods and material use. In contemporary interior design, hardware combines function with form and is placed deliberately to align with the direction of the room and the expression of the furniture.
Handles and knobs
Handles and knobs are the most common types of hardware used in interior spaces. They appear on cabinet doors, drawers, wardrobes and storage pieces in many different rooms. In the kitchen, the bathroom, the hallway and the bedroom, they fulfil the same basic purpose. They provide grip and guide movement. A well balanced handle affects how one moves through a space and creates a more functional flow.
Our selection includes hardware made from brushed or polished metal, untreated brass, anodised aluminium, wood and leather. Some models feature textured surfaces that enhance grip. Others are smooth and discreet, designed to blend into a monochrome cabinet front. Handles are offered in different lengths so they can fit both small drawers and tall cupboard doors.
Knobs are chosen when a smaller and more subtle attachment point is preferred. They have different proportions than handles and work well on drawers, bedside tables or wall mounted units. In some cases, knobs are repeated across a larger surface, creating a visual rhythm that becomes a design feature of its own. Knobs in wood, stone or metal can act as refined accents within a cohesive colour palette.
Hooks and wall mounted hardware
Hooks are another common hardware type. They are placed on walls to organise frequently used items. In the hallway, they hold coats, bags or keys. In the kitchen, they carry towels or utensils. In the bathroom, they hold textiles. In the bedroom, they support clothing or accessories.
The materials vary widely. There are hooks made from wood, metal, plastic, leather and composite materials. Many models are available in different colours and finishes. Some are designed to be installed singly, while others can be grouped to form a visual structure across a larger wall.
Some hooks are designed to stand out. Others have a low profile and function best in rooms where their purpose is more important than their appearance. In either case, the attachment must be stable and the surface durable. Hardware of this kind is used frequently and should withstand daily use without losing shape or coming loose.
Hardware that shapes the whole
Hardware influences not only how a piece of furniture operates, but also how it looks. It defines lines, creates contrast or emphasises how materials meet. In a kitchen, hardware can highlight vertical connections between cabinets. In a bedroom, knobs or handles can tie together wardrobes and bedside tables. In an entrance, hooks create a functional grid along the wall.
These details work together with the rest of the interior. A brushed metal finish can appear in several rooms. A series of hardware offered in different sizes can establish visual rhythm throughout the home. When hardware from the same series is used across different furniture types, an internal logic emerges that contributes to order. This makes it easier to create structure and maintain it.
A selection designed for many environments
Our range of hardware is curated to function throughout the home. Plastic and stainless steel are suitable for humid environments such as the bathroom or kitchen. Wood and leather work well in dry spaces like the bedroom or living room. Many designs are available in multiple colours, making it easy to match them with the room’s palette and material selection.
Some hardware designs are developed for specialised applications. Others are more versatile and can be used flexibly across different rooms. Many models are part of series in which the same shape is offered in multiple sizes and finishes. This makes it possible to work with a cohesive expression without losing variation.
Hardware is used often. It must be functional, durable and thoughtfully constructed. It affects both the practical and the visual. Material selection, proportions and surface treatment are therefore essential. A handle or a hook may be a small detail, but it contributes meaningfully to the overall spatial impression.
