The first variant of Tolomeo was designed in 1987 by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina. Today, the famous desk lamp is available in several different designs and is said to be the most popular desk lamp in the world. In 2010, the Tolomeo Mini was designed, which is made entirely of aluminum and steel and is available in three different colors. Tolomeo Mini is a smaller variant than classic Tolomeo, but larger than Tolomeo Micro. Choose Tolomeo Mini if you have limited space and space for a desk lamp but need good work light. In our range, we also offer the lamp with integrated LED, Tolomeo Mini LED Desk Lamp .
What has made Tolomeo so popular around the world is that the entire lamp body can be easily adjusted to direct the light exactly where it is desired. "No desk lamp should require you to use two hands to adjust properly." said Michele De Lucchi when he designed the desk lamp for which he later received the Compasso d'Oro.
