CH45 Rocking Chair

CH45 is a rocking chair designed in 1965 by Hans J. Wegner for the Danish Carl Hansen. The chair clearly bears Wegner's signature in the interplay between high function, solid craftsmanship and a minimalist design language. The rocking chair comes with a solid wooden frame with a well-balanced slope and a generously designed back, which provides natural support for rest. The seat is woven in paper cord, a technique often used by Wegner. The rocking chair works equally well to decorate with individually or together with other furniture designed by Wegner.
