Ole Wanscher's beautifully sculptural sofa, OW149-2 Colonial Sofa, was designed in 1964 for the Danish company Carl Hansen & Søn. The sofa reflects Wanscher's passion for 18th-century English design. He was also a designer who left nothing to chance, as evident in the graceful details. OW149-2 Colonial Sofa is part of the collection The Colonial Series, which also includes a matching ottoman, armchair, and coffee table.
This variant of Carl Hansen & Søn's OW149-2 Colonial Sofa is crafted from solid walnut and can be combined with several different leather covers in a tasteful range of colors. You can also purchase the model with a solid oak frame in various finishes. If you are interested in a different upholstery, such as fabric, that you do not find here, you can always contact our customer service for assistance with your order. As a Carl Hansen retailer, we have access to their entire collection of both furniture and covers.
