Vendia is an outdoor furniture set from Fritz Hansen in Denmark, designed by Danish designer Mogens Holmriis. The set consists of a round table and two chairs from the Vendia collection, which was developed for smaller outdoor spaces. The design language draws inspiration from traditional garden furniture and combines classic details with compact proportions.
The round table features curved legs and a slatted tabletop that gives the construction a light, open expression. The two chairs are made from teak and have a slender profile with brass fittings. The chairs can be folded when not in use, simplifying storage and making the furniture set practical where space is limited. Vendia creates a complete dining area for two people and is particularly well suited to a balcony, terrace or smaller patio. Mogens Holmriis has a background as both a cabinetmaker and architect, with a particular interest in the properties and possibilities of wood. In the Vendia collection, this is expressed through the clear construction, soft lines and compact format.
