Shimmer Console Table is a console table from the Italian brand Glas Italia, made by internationally renowned furniture designer Patricia Urquiola. The table is made of laminated glass with a rainbow iridescent and frosted finish. All components are carefully glued together by skilled craftsmen. The color of the console table varies depending on how the light hits the surface and where the viewer is in the room. The table leans towards the wall and stands on a diagonal leg with rounded shapes that add a sense of lightness.
The table is made of extra-light glass that has a unique polychromatic finish that allows each component of the table to reflect a subtle color variation across the entire surface. The iridescent effect, which constantly varies depending on where the viewer is in the room and how the light hits the table, has given the Shimmer series its name.
