Telares wool rug Carmine is a handwoven rug from the Spanish brand Nanimarquina. Produced in Pakistan through close collaboration with local weavers, the brand combines traditional know-how with an exploration of textile structures.
The rug is designed by Nani Marquina and is part of the Telares collection. The series was developed through an experimental process that blends different weaving techniques into a single surface, creating subtle variations in density and rhythm. The irregular structure is central to the collection’s expression, giving each rug a quiet, handcrafted character.
Telares Carmine is made from 100% hand-spun Afghan wool. The carmine red hue appears with natural tonal shifts that reflect the fiber depth and richness of the wool. The rug features a low profile and tactile surface, ideal for dry indoor environments. It works well in both private and public spaces where texture and restrained color set the tone.
