The Fabrizio Farmer wool rug is a hand-knotted rug from the Swedish brand Nordic Knots. It belongs to a collection by Paris-based interior designer Fabrizio Casiraghi, inspired by humanity’s relationship with nature through stories of past, present, and future. Casiraghi interprets this through three characters: the archaeologist, the farmer, and the astronomer.
The Farmer rug represents the farmer and is hand-knotted in Bhadohi, India. It is crafted from high-density New Zealand wool, a material that balances softness and durability. The weaving technique creates a dense and even structure with a smooth surface and refined detailing. With a 15 mm pile, the rug carries a tactile quality that enhances its presence in any interior setting.
As part of Casiraghi’s collection, the rug is produced in limited editions, with only a few pieces available in each size. It is Goodweave™ certified and designed for long-lasting use. The Farmer rug works well in a range of interiors, particularly in living rooms and bedrooms. It can also be paired with other wool rugs from Nordic Knots for a cohesive expression.
