Mr. Magoo is a pendant lamp from Stilnovo, Italy, designed by Mirco Crosatto in 2010. The softly shaped silhouette has an organic appearance and gives the impression of floating freely in the room. The fixture is available in several sizes and can be used individually or combined in groups to create larger lighting compositions. Mr. Magoo received the Red Dot Design Award in 2015.
The white polyethylene diffuser encloses a fully integrated topLED light source and distributes a soft, even light. The floating form is enhanced by the white-painted metal ceiling canopy and slender suspension cables, which provide stability without adding visual weight. Mr. Magoo combines a voluminous form with a visually light construction. The different sizes make it possible to adapt the composition to the proportions of the room, from a single fixture to groups arranged at varying heights and scales. The pendant lamp features DALI dimming, allowing the light intensity to be adjusted via a compatible DALI system.
