Re is a table lamp from the FontanaArte brand designed by Bobo Piccoli. Originally designed in 1968, the exclusive lamp was relaunched in 2020 to pay tribute to Piccoli and the expressive ideas that can be found in FontanaArte's range. The lamp has a painted metal frame and a diffuser in satin-blown glass with an acid-etched texture that diffuses a white light. Re looks great on desks, coffee tables as well as bedside tables but can also be used as a floor lamp.

Re was designed at the same time as the Regina lamp and, with its chess-like appearance, together they represent the key figures of the game with their shapes. Place the lamps next to each other or in different places in the same room. The lamps have a dimmer that allows you to adjust the light as desired. Re is inspired by the history of art, from Cosmè Tura and Flemish interiors by Jan Van Eych to the conceptual imagery of Marcel Duchamp who has chess as a way of life.

The lamp is a limited edition, produced in only 100 copies and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
