57 Sofa is a modernist sofa launched in 1957 by Finn Juhl for an exhibition at Tivoli in Copenhagen. The upholstered sofa with its unique shape has a cover that is completely hand-sewn in fabric. The seat is fitted with springs that give the sofa good comfort and durability. The legs of the sofa are made of satin steel with wooden legs.

When the 57 Sofa was launched, it received no less attention. It would be over 40 years before the extravagant sofa would be appreciated by the public. To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Finn Juhl's death, his wife, Hanne Wilhelm Hansen, wanted this sofa to be part of an exhibition dedicated to her husband. She contacted Onecollection to produce an example of the sofa based on Finn Juhl's drawings. This was the beginning of a fantastic collaboration between Hanne Wilhelm Hansen and Onecollection, which would eventually lead to the creation of the House of Finn Juhl.
