77 Sofa 3-seater belongs to a furniture series designed by Finn Juhl for the Danish company Bovirke. The series is characterized by a streamlined, industrial style. It is easily recognizable with its slim, almost invisible, satin-finish steel legs and the use of wood and color in typical Finn Juhl style. The sofa was used in several projects Finn Juhl was involved in, including many of the SAS terminals he designed between 1957 and 1961. Besides the three-seater 77 Sofa 3-seater, 77 Sofa 2-seater is also included in the same series.
