24 Karat Blau is a ceiling lamp designed in 2005 by Axel Schmid for Ingo Maurer. 24 Karat Blau consists of four gold plates handmade in Japan using a unique process where the thin gold plates are cast in acrylic. The light passing through the gold molecules on the lamp plates gives off a soft, unique light. The four arms have four drill holes each and can be hung on the metal rods of the lamp at different angles. Cable and metal rods in red.
The lamp is part of the 24 Karat Blau series together with 1000 Karat Blau, 24 Karat Blau T, 24 Karat Blau M, 24 Karat Blau Wall and 24 Karat Blau Floor. All lamps in the collection have a warm and pleasant light. The lamps are ideal for living rooms, dining rooms and even restaurants and bars thanks to their luxurious look.
