Fauteuil Direction is an armchair designed by designer Jean Prouvé for the Swiss brand Vitra. Fauteuil Direction was designed in 1951 and is a spin-off of the elegant armchair Fauteuil De Salon in Vitra's range, which was designed over ten years earlier by Prouvé. The chair is available in several colors in both fabric and leather.
Prouvé is known for its geometric and structural design, which is well reflected in this armchair, which was created to combine simple architectural forms with high comfort. This armchair is equally suitable for public environments as for the private home.
