Chouchin Reverse 1 is a pendant lamp from Foscarini, Italy, designed by Ionna Vautrin in 2015. The model builds on the design language of the Chouchin series but reverses the relationship between colour and white. The softly shaped shade in white blown glass is finished with a narrow coloured ring, giving the lamp a subtle yet distinctive detail.
The blown glass diffuses a warm light into the surroundings while highlighting the lamp’s rounded silhouette. The combination of the white surface and concentrated colour detail creates a pared-back expression in which craftsmanship and material play a central role. Chouchin Reverse 1 works both as a single pendant and as part of a composition with multiple lamps. It is available in two dimmable versions: one with a replaceable E27 LED light source and one with an integrated LED. The version with integrated LED is compatible with PUSH and DALI dimming.
