Lampe C Pendant Lamp is a pendant lamp from the French brand DCWéditions. Designed by Thierry Dreyfus in 2025, it builds on the classical geometry of the chandelier and reinterprets it as a contemporary metal structure. The outline remains familiar, while the expression is reduced to construction and reflection.
The pendant lamp is composed of 6,400 stainless steel links forming a suspended volume. Instead of crystal or glass elements, the metal surface carries the light. Once illuminated, light reflects across the chain links, creating a dense field of luminous points. The chandelier effect emerges through repetition and material presence rather than ornament.
Lampe C Pendant Lamp is intended for spaces where it can operate at scale, such as entry halls, above large tables, or in public interiors. It positions the traditional chandelier within a current architectural context and explores the interaction between structure and light.
