Lamino footstool

Lamino is a footstool from Swedish brand Swedese designed by Yngve Ekström to complement the well-known Lamino armchair. With its softly curved silhouette and thoughtful design language the footstool follows the same design principles as the armchair where natural materials and comfort sit alongside craftsmanship at the centre.

The frame is made of moulded laminated veneer with curved wooden lines that create a light and organic construction. The softly rounded top provides comfortable support for the legs and complements the armchair’s relaxed seating position. Together they form a harmonious whole in which the sweeping forms and open constructions reinforce one another. The Lamino footstool is available in several wood species and finishes as well as upholstery options. The material choices allow a cohesive appearance to be created with the armchair while the footstool retains a distinct character of its own.
