Nido floor lamp

Nido is a floor lamp from Stilnovo, Italy, with a form inspired by the bird’s nest as a protective place where life takes shape. In the fixture’s interpretation, life is represented by the light source, positioned inside an enclosing shell that both protects the light and directs it. The pared-back construction allows the point of light to become a distinct part of the lamp’s expression.

The directional lamp head allows the light to be adapted to different uses and situations. When directed towards a specific surface, Nido functions as a reading lamp, while an indirect orientation provides softer, more ambient lighting. This allows the same fixture to alternate between focused and atmospheric light without changing its simple form. Nido features touch dimming, allowing the light intensity to be adjusted directly on the lamp. The combination of the directional lamp head and dimming function provides control over both the direction and intensity of the light, making the lighting easy to adapt to different needs.
