Pelican Table is a small table designed in 1940 by Finn Juhl. The round table comes in several finishes: oak, walnut, Oregon Pine, or black oak. The coffee table is a fine example of Finn Juhl’s spiritual relationship with modern art. Combine the table with Pelican Chair or Pelican Chair - With Buttons from the same series, or with the iconic Poet Sofa.
Pelican Table was shown for the first time during the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers’ Guild Exhibition in 1940. As far as is known, the table on display is the only one made. Nor are there any drawings of the Pelican Table, only a photograph from the sixth exhibition when it was shown together with the Pelican Chair. 75 years later, the table was sold at auction in Paris. Thanks to the table's recovery, the exact dimensions could be determined. House of Finn Juhl can now finally relaunch the table exactly as it was once designed at the exhibition in Copenhagen.
