Library Curved pendant lamp

Library Curved pendant lamp is a pendant light from the French brand Serge Mouille. Designed by Serge Mouille in 1953, the model belongs to the Formes Noires series and reflects an early exploration of directional lighting with an emphasis on movement and adjustability. The fixture is mounted on a round ceiling casing from which a curved tube and a downward-facing Moule reflector extend. The reflector can be rotated using an oblong brass ball joint, allowing flexible control of light direction. The structure combines a steel body with an aluminum reflector, while the brass detail introduces contrast against black or white finishes. The pendant lamp is often installed in repeated sequences, for example above work surfaces, kitchen counters, or in linear arrangements where precise lighting is required. Library Curved pendant lamp combines directed light with a curved structure and is suited for both residential and professional interiors. Each piece is manufactured in France according to the original drawings and issued as a numbered edition with a certificate of authenticity.
