nh S1 is a pendant light designed by Neri&Hu for Artemide. The lamp consists of a white mouth-blown glass dome connected to a ring in brushed brass that allows to light freely in different positions and direct the diffuser. nh S1 is suspended from a black lacquered suspension device consisting of a 55 cm long pole which is attached to the ceiling by two adjustable wires. The lamp can also be hung directly from a wire or other alternative device for a more personal expression. With the nh series, Neri&Hu continues his research into the dynamic interaction between experience, detail, material, form, and light with a reinterpretation of oriental culture and tradition. The result is a series of lamps made from a variety of materials and designs that allow the freedom to create countless light installations. nh S1 is available in two sizes where the diameter of the glass dome is either 14 cm or 22 cm.
