Kandti Mask is a wall sculpture from the Italian ceramics brand Bosa and comes in three versions. The design is inspired by the monkey genus gold marquetry and the wall sculpture is hand painted with dynamic colors from the brand's own palette. It is made of high-quality ceramic and decorative metals with a glazed finish. Kandti Mask was designed in 2018 by Elena Salmistraro and belongs to the Primates collection.
The collection reminds us of the relationship between humans and our closest relative, the monkey. With the design, Elena Salmistraro wants to reflect on similarities in body language, facial expressions, and movement. The inspiration for the design comes from three different genera of monkeys, the mandrill, the golden marmoset and the brazzas marmoset. The wall sculptures fit on a wall and are a decorative interior detail in a home.
